Turtle Creek Cabin
A cabin on the water at Aldea Las Brisas that you can only reach by boat, ten minutes from the Río Dulce bridge, built by the host as a place to slow down. A dock and walkway lead up from the river to an open-plan cabin of wood and outdoor space, with two bedrooms, five beds and a bathroom and a half, sleeping six. A 23-foot panga with a captain is included for short runs on the river, and a hot tub for five sits on the deck looking over the water and the jungle. The host's promise is turtles passing the dock and howler monkeys in the trees, and the first five reviews, all five stars, say it delivers. The host has been on Airbnb for ten years; the cabin itself is new, so expect the review count to climb.
