Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge

A riverside lodge on the Macal outside San Ignacio, part of the Muy'Ono collection, with treehouse rooms in three grades plus casitas and a garden house. The treehouses are the reason it is here: raised rooms in the forest above the river, with the lodge's infinity pool and its Treehouse Bar and Restaurant looking out over the canopy. The private river beach has complimentary tubes and kayaks, there are bonfires in the evening, and the Belize Botanic Garden is next door. The lodge counts more than three hundred bird species within five miles. It sells all-inclusive packages with farm-to-table meals, and runs excursions to the ATM cave and Xunantunich. Rates are on the lodge's own site rather than Airbnb, and reservations are handled by phone or online with the resort.
